The Great Smokey Mountain National Park
These Pictures were made July 1st, 1998 at various points
crossing
the Mountain between Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Cherokee,
North Carolina.
On this particular day at Clingman's Dome, is was 61
degrees. The day
before in Gatinburg, it had been close to 100 degrees.
Needless to say, People
where wearing coats, and anything else they could improvise
with to stay
warm in July. You will be able to see in the pictures
why they call it,
